Concerning PSM, I have worked on job selection and the role of PSM, on the measurement of PSM and on the relation between PSM and unethical behavior. My recent research on public services performance connects with my initial interest on public policy evaluation and it has produced various studies on the relation between objective and subjective measures of performance and on factors that influence the relations among citizens\u2019 expectations, perceived performance and satisfaction with public services. One recent research stream has chosen public primary health services as the object of analysis. I have worked on the comparative analysis of the performance of primary health centers and on the impact of management autonomy on their results and on the motivation of professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A new line of inquiry that I am currently developing focusses on <strong>administrative burden<\/strong> on both citizens and professionals. I have started to work on the effects on professionals and their motivation but I would like to include the effects of administrative burden on citizen satisfaction with public services. A rather natural development of administrative burden is the analysis of the barriers that citizens experiment in their relation with public administration, particularly vulnerable population. This is something I hope to include in my research agenda in the coming years.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CASTELLANO<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recientemente, he trabajado en la motivaci\u00f3n para el servicio p\u00fablico (PSM) y en el an\u00e1lisis de la performance de los servicios p\u00fablicos. En cuanto a PSM, he trabajado en las opciones de carrera profesional y en el role de la PSM en estas decisiones, en la medici\u00f3n de PSM y en la relaci\u00f3n entre PSM y comportamiento no \u00e9tico. Mi investigaci\u00f3n reciente sobre performance de los servicios p\u00fablicos conecta con mi inter\u00e9s inicial en la evaluaci\u00f3n de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas y ha producido varios estudios sobre la relaci\u00f3n entre las medidas objetivas y subjetivas de performance y sobre los factores que influyen en las relaciones entre las expectativas de los ciudadanos, la performance percibida y la satisfacci\u00f3n con los servicios. Mi l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s reciente se centra en los servicios p\u00fablicos de atenci\u00f3n primaria en sanidad desarrollando el an\u00e1lisis comparativo de la performance de los centros de atenci\u00f3n primaria y el estudio del impacto de una mayor autonom\u00eda de gesti\u00f3n en sus resultados y en la motivaci\u00f3n de los profesionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una nueva l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n que empiezo a desarrollar se centra en la carga administrativa (administrative burden) tanto para los ciudadanos como para los profesionales. Inicialmente he optado por trabajar sobre los efectos en los profesionales y su motivaci\u00f3n, pero me gustar\u00eda incluir los efectos de la carga administrativa en la satisfacci\u00f3n de los ciudadanos con los servicios p\u00fablicos. Un desarrollo bastante natural de los estudios de administrative burden consiste en analizar las barreras que experimentan los ciudadanos en su relaci\u00f3n con la administraci\u00f3n p\u00fablica, especialmente la poblaci\u00f3n vulnerable. Esta es una cuesti\u00f3n que espero incluir en mi agenda de investigaci\u00f3n en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CATAL\u00c0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00daltimament, he treballat en la motivaci\u00f3 per al servei p\u00fablic (PSM) i en l&#8217;an\u00e0lisi de la performance dels serveis p\u00fablics. Pel que fa a PSM, he treballat en les opcions de carrera professionals i en el rol de la PSM en aquestes decisions, en la mesura de PSM i en la relaci\u00f3 entre PSM i comportament no \u00e8tic.
